Payment Methods

How to Pay Fines & Fees

💻

Method 1 — Online Payment

The fastest and most common method for traffic citations and records requests. Most departments use third-party processors. Requires your citation number or CRN.

Navigate to your county's page in our directory and click "Pay Traffic Fines" or "Request Records" to access the official portal.

🏛️

Method 2 — In Person or Mail

Required for smaller jurisdictions or for payments that must be verified against original documents. Visit the County Courthouse or Police Records Division during business hours.

Accepted: Certified check, money order, or credit card. Cash is rarely accepted for safety and audit reasons.

🚨 Payment Warning: Police departments and sheriff offices will NEVER demand payment for fines over the phone, via wire transfer (Western Union/MoneyGram), or through gift cards (Apple, Google Play, Amazon). These are 100% scams. Official payments are ONLY processed through verified government portals or in person at the physical courthouse or precinct.
